Kristin Connelly

California Forward Action Fund Executive Director

Prior to her role as Action Fund Director, Kristin Connelly served as Bay Area Regional Coordinator for California Forward working to develop partnerships with organizations and community leaders across the Bay Area to support California Forward’s reform agenda.

Prior to joining the staff of California Forward in October of 2010, Kristin consulted for the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise in New York City. After starting her career in the non-profit sector in Southern California, Kristin worked in various capacities both within and outside of government in Washington, D.C., while earning her Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) degree from Georgetown. She held a senior policy position at a national HIV/AIDS organization before moving to New York and attending Fordham Law School. Kristin practiced employment law at Sidley Austin LLP. She is admitted to practice law in New York State.

Kristin is thrilled to be planting roots again in her native Contra Costa County with her husband and two young children.
